What is KaryoMaker?
KaryoMaker draws real human chromosomes with a GPU shader: the band pattern comes from published G-banding data at 400, 550, or 850 bands, and everything else, the curvature, the sister-chromatid groove, the marbled chromatin, the film grain, is generated per pixel. Slide the controls until it looks like your microscope, or switch to a full 46,XX or 46,XY karyotype laid out the way a real karyogram is.
